🖥2/15 - Birth of ENIAC
The world's first electronic calculator, ENIAC, was created.
The ENIAC was the first programmable electronic general purpose digital computer built in 1945. Designed jointly by Eckert and Mockley, it was completed in 1945 and put into service on December 10, 1945. During the war, it was started to be made for justice, but after it was completed, the war was over, so it was used in the scientific field, not the military. When ENIAC is activated, street lights in the city dim and traffic lights turn off, consuming a lot of power and causing many breakdowns. Nevertheless, ENIAC contributed to the development of information technology by being the beginning of computers.
