In 1867, the United States purchased Alaska from the Russian Empire by order of US Secretary of State William Seward. It was eventually approved as the 49th state in the United States on January 3, 1959. This region is an ice country full of natural wonders. Various resources and metals, including gold, silver, and oil, were found in Alaska and purchased by the United States from Russia. In addition, Alaska has the world's third largest oil reserves after the Middle East and Venezuela due to its enormous oil reserves.
