Incheon International Airport(ICN) is the largest airport in South Korea. It is also one of the largest and busiest airports in the world.
This airport opened at March 29, 2001. The airport was constructed to share the demand for air transport in the 21st century and to serve as a hub airport in Northeast Asia.
Skytrax announced ICN was one of the 5-Star airports and Airports Council International(ACI) ranked the airport as best airport worldwide from 2005 to 2011.
Also, ICN was named the winner of World’s Best Transit Airport in 2020, Terminal 2 at ICN was named World’s Best Airport Terminal in 2020.
At 2019, the busiest international route was Hong Kong, next is Osaka(Japan).
At the same year, more than 7 million passengers were served by the airport.
