Valencia CF was established on March 5, 1919, and officially approved on March 18, 1919 with Octavio Augusto Milego Díaz as its first president. The team moved into Mestalla stadium in 1923, their first home-match ended 0-0 against Castellón Castalia. Mestalla stadium is not their first home stadium. They played first year at the Algirós stadium.
Their kit was composed of white shirts, black shorts and socks of the same color, Through the year, however, the colors has alternated between black and white. The away kit has been shades of orange in recent year while third kit have featured colors from the club crest – yellow, blood orange and blue.
They won many honors. They have won La Liga(6 times), La Liga Segunda Division(2 times), Copa del Rey(8 times), Supercopa de España(1 time) and more.
And the team got IFFHS The World’s Club Team of the Year(2004)
